CRS Materials Promotion at Camp

Sunday Night: You will probably just introduce the pastor this night since the campers are still getting acquainted with one another. You can share with the campers who you are and that CRS has some exciting materials that they can sign up for during the week. Be sure to bring materials to give out also.

Monday: Young and Alive. You could share with the campers that CRS has a special magazine just for youth and young adults. Be sure to bring extra copies to give out to those who want to sign up.

Tuesday: Lifeglow. You could share with the campers that CRS has a special maazine which contains positive and inspirational stories for people of all ages. Be sure to bring extra copies to give out to those who want to sign up.

Wednesday: Talent Show. Usually there is a talent show on Wednesday or Thursday night. If you are able to promote something, feel free to do so.

Thursday: Bibles. You could share with the campers that if they don't have a Bible of thier own, they can receive one from CRS in Braille, large print, or cassette. Be sure to bring some Bibles to give out if possible. It would be great to give out the Gospel of Mark in Braille which CRS just printed.

Friday: Bible Courses. You could share with the campers that if they would like to learn more about the Bible or more about Jesus they can sign up for a Bible correspondence course. The Discover course would probably be a good one to promote.The Life and Teachings of Jesus will make Jesus real to them.

Saturday Night: Lending Library. You could share with the campers that they can sign up to receive talking books on a regular basis on cassette. They can choose the subjects that interest them.


This is only meant to be a guide. Feel free to promote CRS services in the way that works best for you. You may even want to highlight other services which are not mentioned here.
