Missionaries Of the Blind Program

   The Personal Ministries Department operates a volunteer program called Missionaries Of the Blind (or the M.O.B.). There are many blind people who receive our materials, but they live in areas where we have no representatives to visit them. We are looking for dedicated volunteers who are willing to contact the blind in their local areas and build a friendship with them. Volunteers can do this in two ways . . .

• Through personal visitation We assign you the name of a blind person who lives in your area to visit once a month. Through these visitations you can encourage them, pray with them, and invite them to your local church. Just simply become their friend.
• Through phone contact Volunteers can minister to the blind by calling them periodicallyand developing friendships as described above.
